LIVE GREEN FIELD INTERNSHIP

OVERVIEW

Over the course of this internship, the intern will undergo a 10-week rotational program, spending time in various departments ranging from Residential Hardscapes to Commercial Production Management. Live Green is dedicated to providing valuable learning opportunities as you share your ideas and creativity with the team.

REQUIREMENTS

Enrolled in a Landscape Contracting, Business, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related program. Is highly motivated with a desire to learn. Has proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Has strong verbal and written communication skills. Has a current minimum GPA of 3.0

Week 1

Residential Planting

Learn how residential planting packages, both foundational plantings and ornamental are carried out by a crew.

Week 2

Commercial Planting

Learn how commercial plantings, including plants, trees and more, are carried out by a crew.

Week 3

Residential Hardscape

Learn how residential hardscape packages, including projects such as patios and hardscapes, are carried out by a crew.

Week 4

Commercial Hardscape

Learn how larger-scaled commercial hardscape projects, such as paver installations, are carried out by a crew.

Week 5

Residential Production Management

Learn how to plan and carry out the process of a landscaping project, by scheduling and directing the necessary employees and equipment to properly complete a task.

Week 6

Commercial Production Management

Learn how to plan and carry out the process of a Commercial project, by scheduling and directing the necessary employees and equipment to properly complete a task.

Week 7

Commercial Project Management

Learn what goes into overseeing all aspects of commercial projects. This includes estimation, work completion, warranties, and project finances to determine profitability and billing.
